Yup. Most companies go through good periods and bad periods. I wasn’t alive the last time Chrysler had a good one.

Honestly, I think they were doing alright in the 90s. Yeah, they made shit, but they also made the Viper, the Dakota (My 1996 has 267k. I can go out and start it right now with no problems. I can go down the road no issues, etc.) and the Rams were revolutionary. Sure, their auto transmissions weren’t great, but the manuals were just fine.
